Action Company Limited Overview

Action Company Limited is a private limited company established in Myanmar in 2012. Its core businesses are Trading, Distribution, Wholesale and Retail of baking essentials. It also has the Bakery Supply Shop named STK in Yangon with the workforce of 27.
The company aims
• To set up effective, efficient and systematic supply chain and operation systems in retail and wholesale.
• To create the best customer satisfaction by creating long-term customer relationship.
• To set up at least 3 retail branches in Myanmar by 2020.

Responsibilities
• Managing and overseeing the entire accounting team and providing guidance when needed.
• Conducting all necessary trainings to keep the team’s skills and knowledge up to date.
• Coordinating with finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines.
• Ensuring that all necessary documents are requested, collected, and compiled.
• Maintaining highly organized and updated A/C receivable (customer) files and A/C payable (supplier) files.
• Monitoring and recording financial transactions according to company policies and regulations.
• Reviewing company income tax, commercial tax, import tax to ensure accuracy and advising BOD regarding the tax code
• Generating financial reports and statements to BOD for review in timely manner.
• Performing financial analysis and reporting to management as needed.
• Responding to accounting inquiries from management in a timely fashion.
• Perform month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Monitoring the inventory accountant with month-end stock taking and stock adjustment.
• Evaluating computerized accounting systems and providing recommendations for performance improvements.
• Analyzing financial discrepancies and recommending effective resolutions.
• Monitoring expenditures, analyzing revenues and determining budget variances and reporting the same to BOD.
• Assisting in budget preparation and expense management activities for assigned accounts.
• Assisting in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations.
• Reviewing and recommending changes to existing accounting procedures.

Qualifications

Education – Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (preferred B.Com. and CPA license in good standing).
Experience –
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Accounting management
• Extensive corporate tax experience
• Exceptional computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Accounting Software (preferred QNE software knowledge and experience)
• Expertise working with financial statements and making analysis
