Job Description

TEAM/PROGRAMME: Programme Implementation LOCATION: Kutkai, Northern Shan State
Number of Positions: 1
Grade: E -1
Type of Contract: Fixed Term

CHILD SAFEGUARDING:
Level 3: the role holder will have contact with children and/or young people either frequently (e.g. once a week or more) or intensively (e.g. four days in one month or more or overnight) because they work in country programs; or are visiting country programs; ore because they are responsible for implementing the police checking/vetting process staff.

ROLE PURPOSE:
To facilitate the effective and successful planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of program activities in the township and villages/wards assigned in collaboration with Project Officer.
SCOPE OF ROLE:
Reports to: Project Officer
Direct Reports: Nil
Financial Approval: No financial approval
External Representation: Regular contact of basic factual information
Travel: Frequent (over 10 days per month)
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY :

• Ensure VHW Monitoring and Supervision joint with BHS according to CTHP.
• Facilitate Monthly and Quarterly Meeting with VHW and BHS.
• Ensure VHC and VTHC lead community meeting and VHC meeting and coordinate with the stakeholders at the village level for community mobilization.
• Conduct data collection and data entry for monthly field activities and submit reports to the supervisors as monthly basis.
• Keep records of activities and report regularly and as requested on program progress.
• Perform project data collection regularly and assist in Monitoring activity and undertake regular Monitoring visit in outreach activities.
• Assist supervisor in preparing and holding meeting & training as well as developing township work plan and budget estimation.
• Liaise with village authorities and departmental officials regarding the project activities as necessary.
• Assist in organizing capacity building workshop / training for a variety of stakeholders.
• Assist in procurement and delivery of materials and supplies and equipment.
• Responsibility for cash disbursement for assigned project activities.
• Take steps to ensure that the program benefits for the poorest and most disadvantaged children.
• Assist the emergency referral, monthly drugs requisitions and monitoring drugs stock in and out of VHWs.
• Any other duties and tasks assigned by supervisors.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor or Diploma Degree in health related field more prefer
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Skills and Experience:
• At least 1 year experience in related field, MNCH experience more prefer

Communication and Technical Skills
• Good English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent personal organisational skills, including time management, and ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Willingness to travel to field and work in difficult environment according to travel requirements

Management:
• Relevant Significant people management skills/experience and proven ability to create an environment which encourages team-working and motivates a team across various geographical areas.

General:
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation developing effective working relationships to deliver outstanding results for children
