Job Description:
The Sales Manager is a passionate and dynamic leader for our strong local sales team. The role involves day to day sales, mentorship, and relationship building with international agents. The position is both client and internal team facing, and the candidate should be forward thinking, with an ability to develop the collective can-do spirit that is core to the company’s value statement: Sharing our Passion for Discovery.

Job Responsibilities:
• Manage the entire sales process of the team
• Lead daily sales meetings to guide and help the team
• Daily brief to General Manager of sales enquiry progress
• Ensure all sales emails are answered fully and accurately in 24h
• Oversee all work activities and performance of the sales team
• Support communication between sales team and overseas partners
• Be a mentor to the sales team and nurture relationships to motivate and improve work
• Develop and grow relationships with agents by delivering effectively to meet their needs
• Understand our products and different target markets, and demonstrate an ability to adapt to them
• Handle weekly accurate and complete file handover of the sales team to Operations
• Ensure correct use of all systems by sales teams to input new leads and record bookings
• Be an active member of the Khiri Green team supporting sustainable practices
• Be involved in the management team and take on projects that could include operations, customer care, finance and hr / admin
• Any other duties required to support the business

Qualifications, Skills & Experience
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5 years’ experience in managing a sales team, preferably in the travel industry.
• Strong work ethic, with keen attention to detail and follow through
• Team player with a positive, “can-do” attitude, and willing to go the extra mile
• Proven ability to manage the sales process from plan to close
• Willingness and enthusiasm for taking on new project work when required
• Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
