Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities
-Direct and coordinate company sales and marketing functions.
-Promote CarsDB brand equity through different marketing plans, which shall be laid out together with management team.
-Responsible for the sales of professional online advertising services tailored exclusively to the automobile market.
-Demonstrate ability to pitch various CarsDB product offerings to potential clients, partners and investors
-Develop annual business plan in conjunction with management, which details activities to follow during the fiscal year
-Develop a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face-to-face cold calling on business owners, direct mail, email, and networking.
-Responsible for sourcing and developing client relationships and referrals.
-Assist management team in representing CarsDB at client meetings, media enquiries and events.
-Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals
-Research and develop strategies and plans which identify marketing opportunities, direct marketing, and new project development.
-Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results.
-Develop and manage sales and marketing budgets, and oversee the development and management of internal operating budgets.
-Plan and coordinate public affairs, and communications efforts, to include public relations and community outreach.
-Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful support, channel and partner programs.
-Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
-Establish and implement short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
-Supervise the planning and development of company marketing and communications materials.
-Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the company.
-Supervise the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotion programs.
-Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
-Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate department staff.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
-Experience in strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management. Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations. Experience in planning marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and successful public relations efforts.
-Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight time frames and simultaneously manage several projects. Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
-This is normally acquired through a combination of the completion of a Master’s Degree in Marketing and 5 years of experience in a senior-level sales and/or marketing position.
Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
